Gabriel Bortoleto has raced the United States Grand Prix once. He started sixteenth, finished eighteenth and was a lap down at the flag.
One start, no points, a best finish of eighteenth. It is the thinnest single row in this series.
Sixteenth on the grid, and the car did the rest
The 2025 race was his first at the Circuit of the Americas and came in his rookie season with Sauber. Sixteenth on the grid is the back third, and losing two places from there over a race distance says more about the machinery than the driver.
He was one of several cars lapped that afternoon, which at this circuit usually means the race ran cleanly at the front and nobody behind got a chance to move.

That season did produce points elsewhere, including a sixth place at the Hungarian Grand Prix, so this was not a driver who could not score. Austin simply did not offer the opening.
His Baku record has the same shape: two starts, two finishes, no points, and grid slots that never gave him a fight to join.
Gabriel Bortoleto's United States GP record year by year
Every United States Grand Prix start, with the grid slot it came from and what it was worth.
| Season | Grid | Finish | Points | Team |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 | 16 | P18 | 0 | Sauber |
One row, and everything still ahead
No win, no podium, no pole, no fastest lap and no points, from a single visit in a car that was rarely in the conversation. There is nothing here yet to call a record.
He returns on 25 October in the R26 with Audi. A finish inside the top fifteen would already be an improvement, and a point would rewrite the whole table.
