Alex Albon has started five United States Grand Prix races. The best of them was the first, in the only season he spent at Red Bull.
Five starts, 12 points, a best finish of fifth. Ten of those 12 points come from a single afternoon in 2019.
Fifth on debut, then four years of Williams
2019 was sixth on the grid and fifth at the flag, comfortably his strongest weekend at the Circuit of the Americas and worth ten points on its own.
He did not race the 2021 edition. The return in 2022 with Williams produced thirteenth from eighth on the grid, a Saturday that promised more than Sunday delivered.

2023 is the only other time he has scored here: fifteenth on the grid, ninth at the flag, two points, and the kind of result that car had no business producing.
The last two have been quieter. Sixteenth in 2024, a lap down, and fourteenth in 2025 from eighteenth on the grid.
Alex Albon's United States GP record year by year
Every United States Grand Prix start, with the grid slot it came from and what it was worth.
| Season | Grid | Finish | Points | Team |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2019 | 6 | P5 | 10 | Red Bull |
| 2022 | 8 | P13 | 0 | Williams |
| 2023 | 15 | P9 | 2 | Williams |
| 2024 | 14 | P16 | 0 | Williams |
| 2025 | 18 | P14 | 0 | Williams |
Five starts, five finishes
No win, no podium, no pole and no fastest lap, but he has reached the flag every time, which at a circuit that regularly takes cars out is worth noting on its own.
He returns on 25 October in the FW48. The 2023 drive is the one to measure against: a points finish from outside the top twelve is the realistic good day here, and he has already done it once.
