Yuki Tsunoda has started every Dutch Grand Prix of the modern era. Six visits to Zandvoort since the race returned in 2021, and almost nothing on the scoreboard to show for any of them.
Six starts, one points finish and two championship points. Of every driver who has been to all six runnings, nobody has taken less away.
Six visits, one score
The single points finish came in 2025. Tsunoda qualified twelfth, finished ninth and collected two points, and it happened in the one season he spent in the senior Red Bull seat. It is the only time in six attempts that Zandvoort has paid him anything at all.
Everything else has been a version of the same afternoon. Fifteenth in 2023, seventeenth and lapped in 2024, eleventh and lapped in 2026. Zandvoort is a circuit where a driver who qualifies in the middle of the pack finishes in the middle of the pack, and Tsunoda has qualified in the middle of the pack almost every year he has been here.
Be that as it may, the record is not all of his own making. Four of the six starts came with the junior team, in cars that were rarely quick enough to trouble the top ten at a circuit this hard to overtake at.
The two retirements that started it
His first two Dutch Grands Prix both ended early. A power unit failure stopped him in 2021 and left him classified nineteenth. In 2022 it was the differential, and he was classified twentieth after starting ninth.
That 2022 weekend is the one worth a second look. Ninth on the grid in an AlphaTauri was a genuinely good Saturday, and it remains the only time he has started inside the top ten at Zandvoort. The car did not last long enough for it to count for anything.

The seat that scored, and the seat that did not
There is a neat symmetry to the last two runnings. In 2025 Tsunoda drove the Red Bull at Zandvoort and came ninth, while Liam Lawson was twelfth in the Racing Bulls. In 2026 they had swapped seats, and the results swapped with them: Lawson seventh in the Red Bull, Tsunoda eleventh in the Racing Bulls.
No win, no pole, no podium and no fastest lap from six visits. Tsunoda's Dutch Grand Prix record is as long as anyone's on the current grid and comfortably the emptiest. He has seen more of Zandvoort than almost any driver here, and it has given him the least.
