The Story
Tony Brooks was a British Formula 1 driver who contested 39 Grands Prix between 1956 and 1961, racing BRM, Vanwall, Ferrari and Cooper-Climax. He made his debut at the 1956 Monaco Grand Prix, and he took 6 wins, the first at the 1957 British Grand Prix and the last at the 1959 German Grand Prix, among 10 podium finishes. Brooks scored 75 championship points, making his final start at the 1961 United States Grand Prix. He also took 3 pole positions.
