Phil Hill was an American Formula 1 driver who contested 51 Grands Prix between 1958 and 1964, racing 5 different teams, starting with Maserati. He won the World Drivers' Championship in 1961, taking 3 race wins and 16 podium finishes along the way. He made his debut at the 1958 French Grand Prix, and made his final start at the 1964 Mexican Grand Prix.
