José Froilán González was an Argentine Formula 1 driver who contested 26 Grands Prix between 1950 and 1960, racing Maserati, Talbot-Lago, Ferrari and Vanwall. He made his debut at the 1950 Monaco Grand Prix, and he took 2 wins - the 1951 British Grand Prix, the 1954 British Grand Prix - among 15 podium finishes. González scored 77.64 championship points, making his final start at the 1960 Argentine Grand Prix.
