Bruce McLaren was a New Zealander Formula 1 driver who contested 103 Grands Prix between 1958 and 1970, racing 7 different teams, starting with Cooper. He made his debut at the 1958 German Grand Prix, and he took 4 wins, the first at the 1959 United States Grand Prix and the last at the 1968 Belgian Grand Prix, among 27 podium finishes. McLaren scored 196.5 championship points, making his final start at the 1970 Monaco Grand Prix.
