The Story
Olivier Gendebien was a Belgian Formula 1 driver who contested 16 Grands Prix between 1956 and 1961, racing Ferrari, Cooper-Climax, Emeryson and Lotus-Climax. He made his debut at the 1956 Argentine Grand Prix, and stood on the podium 2 times, with a best finish of second place at the 1960 French Grand Prix. Gendebien scored 18 championship points, making his final start at the 1961 United States Grand Prix.
