The Story
John Surtees was a British Formula 1 driver who contested 112 Grands Prix between 1960 and 1972, racing 9 different teams, starting with Team Lotus. He won the World Drivers' Championship in 1964, taking 6 race wins and 24 podium finishes along the way. He made his debut at the 1960 Monaco Grand Prix, and made his final start at the 1972 Italian Grand Prix.
