Jacques Laffite

Jacques Laffite was a French Formula 1 driver who contested 177 Grands Prix between 1974 and 1986, racing Iso Marlboro, Williams and Ligier. He made his debut at the 1974 German Grand Prix, and he took 6 wins, the first at the 1977 Swedish Grand Prix and the last at the 1981 Canadian Grand Prix, among 33 podium finishes. Laffite scored 228 championship points, making his final start at the 1986 British Grand Prix. He also took 7 pole positions.
