Jacky Ickx was a Belgian Formula 1 driver who contested 116 Grands Prix between 1967 and 1979, racing 10 different teams, starting with Matra. He made his debut at the 1967 German Grand Prix, and he took 8 wins, the first at the 1968 French Grand Prix and the last at the 1972 German Grand Prix, among 25 podium finishes. Ickx scored 181 championship points, making his final start at the 1979 United States Grand Prix. He also took 13 pole positions.
