Third place at Zandvoort in 2025 is, to date, the only podium of his Formula 1 career. Of all the venues to find a breakthrough, he found his at the hardest circuit on the calendar to overtake at.
The podium that changed his season
Hadjar qualified fourth, which was remarkable enough in a Racing Bulls, and then converted it into third. Fifteen points, a first trip to the rostrum and the sort of afternoon that changes how a paddock talks about a rookie.
Zandvoort rewards drivers who qualify well and then do not make mistakes, because the alternative is being stuck behind somebody for two hours. Hadjar did both parts of that job.
A record with nothing to hide behind
With a single start there is no trend to read, no decline to explain and no run of near misses. There is one race, one strong Saturday and one podium. However that also means the sample is tiny, and Zandvoort in 2026 will be the first real test of whether 2025 was a circuit that suits him or a weekend that came together.
