The 2023 podium from nowhere
Gasly started the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix 12th. He finished third. The rain that turned the race into a lottery played straight into his hands, and he timed the conditions and the tyre calls beautifully to come home on the podium for Alpine. It remains the standout result of his Zandvoort record and one of Alpine's best days of that era.
There is no pole and no win on his Dutch sheet, but that single rostrum, earned in the wet from deep in the pack, is worth more than a stack of quiet top-tens.
Gasly has raced here in two very different chapters. The first two visits came with AlphaTauri, including a tidy fourth in 2021. One point is still an improvement on 2025, when he came home seventeenth. At a circuit this hard to pass at, starting eleventh and finishing tenth is roughly what the Alpine was worth.
