Carlos Reutemann was an Argentine Formula 1 driver who contested 146 Grands Prix between 1972 and 1982, racing 5 different teams, starting with Brabham. He made his debut at the 1972 Argentine Grand Prix, and he took 12 wins, the first at the 1974 South African Grand Prix and the last at the 1981 Belgian Grand Prix, among 45 podium finishes. Reutemann scored 310 championship points, making his final start at the 1982 Brazilian Grand Prix. He also took 6 pole positions.
