Gilles Villeneuve

Gilles Villeneuve was a Canadian Formula 1 driver who contested 68 Grands Prix between 1977 and 1982, racing McLaren and Ferrari. He made his debut at the 1977 British Grand Prix, and he took 6 wins, the first at the 1978 Canadian Grand Prix and the last at the 1981 Spanish Grand Prix, among 13 podium finishes. Villeneuve scored 107 championship points, making his final start at the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix. He also took 2 pole positions.
