The Story
Jody Scheckter was a South African Formula 1 driver who contested 112 Grands Prix between 1972 and 1980, racing McLaren, Tyrrell, Wolf and Ferrari. He won the World Drivers' Championship in 1979, taking 10 race wins and 33 podium finishes along the way. He made his debut at the 1972 United States Grand Prix, and made his final start at the 1980 United States Grand Prix.
