About Buddh International Circuit
The Buddh International Circuit opened in 2011 near Greater Noida, outside Delhi, and hosted the Indian Grand Prix for three seasons before taxation disputes and organisational problems removed it from the calendar.
The layout is fast, with significant elevation change and a long straight leading into a tight turn four — the main overtaking opportunity. Turns ten and eleven form a long, banked, double-apex right that drivers singled out as the highlight of the lap.
Sebastian Vettel won all three Indian Grands Prix from pole position, and sealed his fourth consecutive world championship here in 2013.
