Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello

Mugello, in the Tuscan hills, has been owned by Ferrari since 1988 and used as a test facility for decades. It held its only Formula 1 World Championship race in September 2020 as the Tuscan Grand Prix, part of the pandemic-rewritten calendar, and marked Ferrari's 1,000th Grand Prix.

The circuit is fast and flowing, with substantial elevation change and a long main straight. Its sequence of high-speed direction changes through the first sector loads a car heavily and was widely praised by drivers, several of whom called it the best track they had raced on that year.

The race itself was chaotic, featuring two red flags and three separate standing starts, with only twelve cars classified at the finish.
