Gerhard Berger was an Austrian Formula 1 driver who contested 210 Grands Prix between 1984 and 1997, racing 5 different teams, starting with ATS. He made his debut at the 1984 Austrian Grand Prix, and he took 10 wins, the first at the 1986 Mexican Grand Prix and the last at the 1997 German Grand Prix, among 48 podium finishes. Berger scored 385 championship points, making his final start at the 1997 European Grand Prix. He also took 12 pole positions.
