The Story
Bruno Giacomelli was an Italian Formula 1 driver who contested 69 Grands Prix between 1977 and 1983, racing McLaren, Alfa Romeo and Toleman. He made his debut at the 1977 Italian Grand Prix, and stood on the podium 1 time, with a best finish of third place at the 1981 Caesars Palace Grand Prix. Giacomelli scored 14 championship points, making his final start at the 1983 South African Grand Prix. He also took 1 pole position.
